May 18, 2009 - ParentLink upgrades to it's new 7.3 system
ParentLink is now releasing their newest software upgrade, offering their clients more flexible data control and an enhanced ability to support school district brand identities.
Provo, Utah – Monday May 18, 2009 – ParentLink, the industry leader in school to home communication, announced today that it upgraded its hosted ASP service as the final step in its efforts to move to an exclusively hosted service. Messaging, a key service provided by ParentLink, is now integrated with Google’s mapping technology to allow clients to select an area of the map within a school district to determine message recipients. Better user-level security has also been added, allowing ParentLink clients to define custom user permissions for staff and teachers. ParentLink also provides better branding for districts through branded web, messaging, and other communication. The ability to customize these and other features will provide value through increased brand identity, higher message acceptance rates, more easily readable messages, improved district implementation and more effective communication.
For nearly 20 years, ParentLink’s goal has been to improve education and increase student achievement, while providing a service that generates a return on investment for the district and community. ParentLink currently serves hundreds of school districts across the country with their client services one-on-one support to districts of all backgrounds and sizes, including 5 of the 10 largest organizations. Many of these districts cite the value, flexibility, customization and security ParentLink provides as key reasons for this widespread adoption.
ParentLink also sponsors the School 2 Home Communication Forum as an additional way for educators to discuss their best practices and other ideas to increase positive communication with peers and colleagues. They offer free, monthly, online webinars that provide information, ideas, and practical strategies from the users themselves. Please visit www.s2hcomm.com for seminar dates.
