How do I play Scattergories with the ParentLink card?

The first thing you'll need is the special ParentLink category card, which you can download here. Print off a few for you and your staff to use at your next staff meeting. Now you're ready to play. Begin playing Scattergories switch the on/off button to "off" and turn the timer knob clockwise as far as it will go. Roll the die and call out the letter it lands on, then start the timer. Quickly fill out a category list with answers that begin with the same letter as shown on the die. For example, if the letter shown is 'L', then all your answers must begin with the letter 'L'. When the timer stops, all players should stop writing immediately. To score your card, circle any answers that are acceptable. Acceptable answers include unique answers (not the same as another players answer) that are real words. You get 1 point for every circled word, and an extra point for any words that use the letter more than once (for example: Carson City). Whoever has the most points wins! Remember, this is a game, so have some fun with it and try to come up with the most creative answer. Go the extra mile and think up your own categories for added fun. You have nothing to lose, so start now!
